Unlimited ambition

Network N is a games media group, specialising in discovery, targeting and engagement. We’re a fast-growing media business focusing on gamers, gear and esports, reaching over 60m+ unique users per month across our network of websites.

We look to create better channels to target gamers globally across owned media and partners and our spans over 150+ owned and operated and partner sites, which reaches massive gaming audiences with high intent.

We hand pick the best gaming sites in the world to help them run better, more gaming focused ads and support them with the monetisation of their sites.

Unlimited innovation

We’re unique as no one else within the industry covers all areas of the market as we do. Network N divides into three business areas, our agency, Project N offers world-class content that drives results for clients and offers support with brilliant content, targeted distribution, and all-important customer data.

Publisher Collective is an ad network with publisher values, meaning we support games websites to grow and deliver advertising that works for their audiences. Publisher Collective also advises on issues from SEO and social strategy, to ensuring the best mobile ad setup and legal compliance. Our clients trust us to deliver advertising with tight targeting and high-impact creatives, reaching audiences of up to 60 million per month.

Finally, our publishing house looks after all of our owned and operated sites, such as PCGN, Wargamer, The Loadout, The Digital Fix and Pocket Tactics.

Unlimited potential

Due to Coronavirus, over the past 12 months the gaming industry has seen an increase of 71% with regard to gaming spend and more and more industries are now starting to see how influential gaming audiences and consumers can be. Due to this and our output of content, not just for our owned and operated sites but also for our agency with regards to web builds for new clients and games trailers, our reach as a business has grown exponentially and our engagement with our clients, partners and readers has only further solidified.

As remote working has also proved hugely beneficial and productive for our area of work, it’s allowed us to expand the team further afield, with employees now in the north of England, the South East, Scotland and New York.

Unlimited talent

As mentioned, being able to acquire talent from further afield in the last 12 months has supported the business to grow, and with that, the owners James Binns and Tim Edwards wanted to make sure culture and welfare of staff was at the heart of everything we do here at Network N.

With the acquisition of new staff, we strongly focus on employee training, development and staff inclusion within the business.

We conduct quarterly Culture Amp surveys in order to understand how the team are feeling about certain topics, ways of working etc. and we then have follow ups with all management and cascade agreed upon changes to the team.

During the last 12 months, we’ve encouraged inclusion and support for any individuals that want to discuss and share minority experiences. These groups are held bi-weekly and encourage discussions around prevalent topics put forward by group members.

Each group (Women of Network N, BLM and LGBTQ+ ) hosts quarterly allyship forums that invite guest speakers from different industries to share their experiences and stories with our team.

We want all of our team to feel heard, supported and that we’re working with them.

We’re a fast-growing media business focusing on gamers, gear and esports, reaching over 60m+ unique users per month across our network of websites.

Bath Community

  • Being part of the Bath community is important to us as Bath is our home and to do so, we support many local charities. Most recently we supported Off The Record, a charity that provides a range of free services including counselling and listening support for young adults. Our employees walked, cycled and ran 3,371 miles (the distance to New York) to raise money for mental health awareness.

  • We also like to support the local businesses when hosting staff events and parties, in recent years we’ve hired out Combe Grove Manor, The Common Room and Circo.

Founded

Network N was founded in 2012 by James Binns and Tim Edwards. In their previous career, both James and Tim worked at Future Publishing. James previously ran Future Publishing’s entire gaming portfolio, including launching sites like GamesRadar. Tim was previously the Editor in Chief of PCGamer and launched the global brand PCGamer.com.

How does Bath influence your work?

  • Bath is the roots of our business, we began life here and we’ve seen 9 years of our business flourish here. Our offices that are situated in Circus Mews are our home and we’re so thankful to be placed in such a beautiful city that offers our business and employees so much in terms of culture. It’s an incredible city that is close enough to London but offers a different pace in terms of lifestyle.

  • We take advantage (where possible) of all the local businesses that Bath has to offer and all the incredible sights when out and about on walks at lunch time.

Where are you based?

Bath.
