We are experts in the application of digital technology to the design of building structures, bridges, facades and installation art. With the use of these tools we can refine the geometry and the typology into something leaner and more refined, saving our clients embodied energy time and money. We devote a defined proportion of our income every year to pure research and to growing links with academia, ensuring that we keep a focus on our aim of continual challenge to the norms in the construction industry. Digital tools are just one aspect of what we do. Although they are transformative, we ensure they are used within the context of creative and humane Engineering.

We are based in the South West, but our reach is global. We are local, national and international with projects in Europe, the United States and the Middle East. In the near future our focus will be on local offices in Europe where we have a growing workload. Conceptually we have a huge potential to grow, there are many fields of research that we can tap into which would allow is to design even better and more beautiful structures.

Did you know…
Bath Community
Bath is our home. It’s where we started and where our business meets the community. We are particularly proud that our studio is in an old Victorian shop on Walcot Street where models and illustrations of our work make the public stop and stare and sometimes come in to know more. We love the positive impact that Engineering has on people, particularly young people curious about a career in design.
Founded
Founded in 2014 by a several of us from larger, corporate practices we wanted to focus on more personal delivery and on research. We’ve had a lot of fun since and we should have made the step years earlier!
How does Bath influence your work?
Bath is a hub for Engineering design, a reflection of its world-class reputation in Architecture and Engineering.
When we first started, we were worried about attracting people to come to Bath. We shouldn’t have had. The work/life balance here is a huge draw to talented staff.
Whilst a healthy proportion of our work is international, we very much enjoy the smaller scale but equally challenging local work. Bath has technical and social challenges, in particular around pedestrian and cycling links that we want to help address in the future.
